Christmas Decor - New England Style

Candles copy.jpg

The holiday decor started popping up just before Thanksgiving - wreaths placed on front doors and candles on window sills. By the second week in December, houses (and towns) throughout New England dazzled with Christmas decor like I had never seen before.

Imagine houses lit with a candle at every window, large wreaths hung on barns, garland draped across stonewalls. Imagine Christmas trees made of lobster traps and colorful buoys. New England at Christmas feels like a Hallmark movie. Scroll down to see some inspiring holiday decor ideas from our New England neighbors.
